At the start of a new school year, teachers need to set up their students on Reading Rewards, and add them to a classroom group. Teachers who had their class on Reading Rewards the previous year, there are two options.
- Option 1: Set up an entirely new classroom group
- Option 2: Re-use the previous year’s classroom group
Displaying & Hiding Inactive Groups
By default, inactive groups (i.e. those with End Dates in the past) will be hidden when you view your groups. To display all of your groups, past and present, simply select the All Groups option from the filter at the top of your My Groups page.
Offering Existing Rewards to New Groups
One of the reasons that some teachers choose to re-use existing groups instead of creating new ones, is that they want to keep the rewards they had defined for their group members the previous year. In that case, they can easily offer existing rewards to a new group.
